Principal Duties and Responsibilities


Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Perform site visits to gather information required to schedule and monitor progress.
  • Under direction of department managers Coordinates subcontractors, vendors, internal / external engineering, etc. to maintain project timeline and accurize bids/costs.
  • Perform Booking audits and ensure standardization and quality of booking documents.
  • Interfaces with customer to facilitate invoicing, billing, and receivables, close projects and manage expectations.
  • support projects requiring third party or government reporting.
  • Work with warehouse to Ensure that quotes are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Develop and complete written scopes of work related to project/service/repair being quoted.
  • Analize and report on various financial data to support retrofit operations and identify data points that may require adjustment or investigation.
  • Works with operations for smooth project hand off during project closeout.
  • Development and completion of bid temps related to project/service/repair being quoted.
  • Prepare and review booking packages, quotes, and other related documents.
  • Using knowledge base and experience, amend, adjust, change scopes, bid temps, presentation documents, etc as required or requested.
  • Attend networking events.
  • Actively seek and drive new business for the team.
  • In conjunction with the Project managers, construction manager and other retrofit personnel drive the department goals and standards as directed.


Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Project management, mechanical engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years' experience in HVAC commercial service or related field.
  • Aptitude and eagerness to learn technical aspects required to estimate projects.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Financial acumen, inclusive of interpreting spreadsheets and forecasting.
  • Independent decision making is required.
  • Computer skills using MS Office required. Strong Excel skills are required.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and be in compliance with company designated driver policy.
