As a Project Developer (Solar) you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of renewable energy initiatives. This role requires a dynamic individual who can strategically lead and oversee various aspects of project development, collaborate with internal teams and external experts, and ensure successful project progression from origination to the Ready to Build (RTB) status.


This position is In Houston, Texas.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently managing project permitting processes and evaluating environmental studies.
  • Facilitating the interconnection process in multiple Independent System Operators (ISOs) such as PJM, ERCOT, MISO, and SPP.
  • Diligently tracking and evaluating project risk at every stage of the development cycle.
  • Creating comprehensive budgets with valuable insights from various departments.
  • Consistently delivering informative monthly pipeline and leads reports to headquarters.
  • Nurturing and sustaining relationships with relevant authorities, consultants, the community, and other stakeholders.
  • Meeting project milestones punctually and within budget, ensuring successful development until the Ready to Build (RTB) status.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., renewable energy, engineering, business, or related discipline).
  • 2-4 years’ experience within the renewable industry or utilities industry- Strong project management skills and a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
  • Proficiency in data management, budgeting, and contract review.
  • Knowledge of permitting processes and interconnection procedures in various ISOs is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to project sites and the company's office.
