Position Overview:

The Director of Human Resources (HR) will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's goals and support its growth. This role will encompass all aspects of human resources management, including compliance, benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, and partnering with the leadership team to cultivate a high-performing and engaged workforce.


Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Strategy: Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company’s growth objectives and foster a positive organizational culture.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, implementing best practices to mitigate risk.
  • Benefits Administration: Design and manage comprehensive benefits programs that attract and retain top talent, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  • Compensation: Develop and oversee competitive compensation structures and incentive programs that align with industry standards and company goals.
  • Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent, developing effective sourcing strategies and employer branding initiatives.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations programs, conflict resolution, and promoting open communication.
  • Performance Management: Implement and manage performance management systems that drive employee development and organizational performance.
  • Training and Development: Develop and oversee training programs that enhance employee skills, career development, and leadership capabilities.
  • HR Policies: Create, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
  • Leadership Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, providing HR insights and guidance to support decision-making and business objectives.
  • Data Management: Utilize HR metrics and data analytics to inform decision-making and improve HR processes and outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in human resources, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
  • Experience in a private equity-backed or high-growth environment is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong expertise in benefits administration, compensation design, and talent acquisition.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics.
