MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 3-5 years, with a background in related fields (i.e. public accounting or with large multinationals)
  • Emphasis on federal tax compliance and knowledge of state and local taxation.
  • Basic knowledge of U.S. corporate income tax laws and accounting principles, including ASC740.
  • CPA or similar credentials required.


Nice to have

  • Experience with Corp Tax software is preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and tax reporting standards.

Job Description:

A large manufacturing client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a SR Accountant with an emphasis on Federal Tax. This position will be responsible for the preparation and review of federal, state, and foreign income tax returns, information returns, and other disclosures required in compliance with tax laws. Additionally, they will be responsible for the effective maintenance of the tax compliance software assists in the preparation of the quarterly and annual consolidated income tax provision. Other job expectations include:

  • Prepare and review U.S. federal and state tax filings, including consolidated income tax and information returns.
  • Conduct tax research and maintain documentation for compliance and audits.
  • Assist with tax provision processes and manage related software.
  • Support tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and comply with legislation.
  • Review financial data for accurate tax analysis and reporting.
