About the RoleAs a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a fundamental role in supporting our dynamic company in planning and compliance with all required federal, state, local, international, and other applicable tax laws and regulations, as well as financial reporting for income taxes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate taxation and be well-versed in the complexities of accounting for income taxes under ASC 740. You will support direct and indirect taxes, including income, sales and use, property, and consumption-based taxes. You'll actively monitor U.S., state, and international tax matters, track tax legislative and judicial actions, analyze potential impacts/benefits, and implement action plans for the Company. Your duties will also include analyzing tax ramifications of strategic initiatives or significant M&A transactions, performing technical review and research of complex tax return issues, and support of the design and execution of tax controls. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate filings Assist with quarterly and annual tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740 Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to gather information for tax compliance and financial reporting Conduct tax research of laws and regulations and develop tax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax position Assist with the preparation of tax forecasts and estimations to support financial planning Liaise with external tax consultants and auditors during examinations and audits, particularly in support of the tax provision process Maintain internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in tax legislation that may impact the company Assist with special projects and other related duties as assigned About You: Our mission is driven by the unwavering passion to push the boundaries of what is possible.
