I've partnered with a community bank looking for a skilled analyst to join the team. In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Chief Credit Officer and will work on various deals across the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) or Commercial & Industrial (C&I) space.
**This is a hybrid role reporting to their Lakewood office, 3 days onsite/2 days from home**
Responsibilities:
- Receives and processes financial data for loan applications, including tax returns, financial statements, and credit reports.
- Analyzes data to assess credit risk and evaluate borrowers' ability to meet financial obligations.
- Ensures compliance with lending policies and conducts thorough cash flow analyses and financial ratio evaluations.
- Prepares detailed reports and recommendations for loan approvals or denials, and maintains comprehensive credit files.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial underwriting or a minimum of 5 years of banking experience or related commercial real estate experience.
- Specialized bank lending education or training preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study.
