Candidate Source has an Administrative position available with a Commercial/Residential General Contractor based in Richmond, VA.


In this administrative role, you will serve as an Assistant Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant and support the management team. This role offers the opportunity to develop your office management and payroll skills. In this position you will learn more about the construction field and have the potential to grow into a more robust role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices, receipts, and other financial documents ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Maintain organized office filing and storage systems, both physical and electronic.
  • Assist in greeting visitors and managing phone communications with professionalism.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.


General Knowledge & Skills:

  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers, suppliers, and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle large volumes of information efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a construction environment and/or a Notary License is a plus.
