As a Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, you will:
- Guide a teaching team as you plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, create classroom goals, and lead hands-on activities that expand children’s learning and extend their thinking
- Document children's learning, daily experiences, and accomplishments through daily notes, documentation panels, portfolios, and our child assessment system - Teaching Strategies Gold (TSG)
- Follow important procedures and guidelines to provide a safe and nurturing environment that encourages children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development
What we hope you will bring to this role:
Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or State Educator License in Early Childhood (Pre-K-2) from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education required
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, Early Childhood Special Education preferred
- Candidates without a bachelor’s degree in an ECE or Education-related major may meet the educational requirements if they have earned: a bachelor’s degree (in any subject) with a minimum of 36 college credits in any of the major areas identified above OR a bachelor’s degree (in any subject) with a Montessori Certificate
- At least 12 months of professional teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool required
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) for 4- and 5-year-old children required

Compensation Range: $29.35 - $31.41 per hour
