Registered Behavior Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Newton, MA. This full-time position is available immediately and extends until the end of the current school year, with the possibility of continuing into the next school year. Additionally, there may be opportunities for summer employment. The role involves working with students from Kindergarten to 12th grade.
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Provide direct behavioral support and instruction to students both in classroom and one-on-one settings.
- Collect data on student behavior and progress towards goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies across settings.
- Assist in the development of social skills and adaptive behavior skills.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Ability to implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity and maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the needs of students and the school environment.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position for the remainder of the current school year and potentially continuing into the next school year.
- Summer employment opportunities may be available.
Grade Levels:
- Kindergarten to 12th grade.
Location:
- Newton, MA.
