Outside Sales Representative

LHH is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our client, a leading Waste Management Company. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships. Whether you're an early-career professional with a degree or an experienced sales representative without a degree, if you have a passion for sales we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the waste management sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.
- Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts and agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless service delivery.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage and track sales activities, leads, and customer interactions.
Qualifications:
- For Degree Candidates (Early Career): Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience and 1 year of prior sales experience.
- For Non-Degree Candidates: 1+ years of prior experience as an outside sales representative.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A self-starter with a proactive approach to sales.
Compensation: $40-45k Base with Uncapped Commission Potential
