Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative, dynamic, and fun Brand Marketing Manager to lead storytelling and content creation for WECO. This role is pivotal in creating the local awareness and understanding of WECO’s unique culinary point of view for our foodie customers throughout the Greater Boston and NY Tri-state area. Your job is to create and share the good vibes that WECO is all about.


The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for food and lifestyle content, able to craft compelling narratives in social media and email. You are a talented writer and have some basic design and video editing skills. Most importantly, you are a motivated self-starter who has a point of view and is ready to share it with the world.

This is an extremely dynamic role where creativity and multi-tasking rule. Any given day might find you in our kitchen filming our chefs creating magic; talking to a local farmer about the heritage vegetables they are growing; or creating a special dinner party for our most loyal customers. 


This is a perfect role for someone who wants to make a large impact in a high-visibility role. Your content will be seen by thousands of foodie diners every week.


Who you are:

You love food and storytelling. You are passionate about locally sourced ingredients, local farms, regenerative agriculture, and the local food scene. You are an extremely talented digital storyteller, creating engaging content and good vibes for our audiences on social media and email. 


You are extremely comfortable in a dynamic environment. You are a roll-up-your-sleever and know how to get things done.


What You’ll Do:

Content Creation: You're a content creator at heart, crafting and sharing irresistible food and lifestyle content that drives engagement and brings the WECO brand to life.

Brand Voice: You’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining WECO’s signature voice—fun, quirky, and consistently on-point—across every channel.

Email Marketing: You’ll create and launch email marketing campaigns that make an impact. Familiarity with—or a willingness to master—Klaviyo or similar email tools is a must.

Design and Video Editing: You're comfortable designing in Canva and can shoot and edit videos for social.

Campaign Creation: You’ll assist in developing and executing creative, buzzworthy marketing campaigns that align with WECO’s goals and make people hungry for more.

Events: Dream up, create, and execute unforgettable events—think dinner parties, farmers markets, and other fun gatherings.

Pinch Hitting: Just like a busy restaurant, WECO has its all-hands-on-deck moments. Whether it’s running a delivery, helping pack meals, or answering customer support emails, you’re ready to jump in and help wherever needed.

Customer Obsession: You’re passionate about making customers happy and will help translate their needs and feedback to the culinary team and beyond.

Collaboration: You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure WECO’s voice and vision remain consistent in culinary development, customer service, and everything in between.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in marketing, ideally in a restaurant setting
  • Content creation, storytelling, and social media experience
  • Copywriting, graphic design, and video editing skills
  • Social media skills
  • Strong knowledge of food industry
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, evolving environment.
