Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Development and Activation Planning
- Establish and nurture impactful relationships within the community to promote company initiatives and enhance awareness of the House of Sport brand pillars: assortment, experience, service, and community.
- Assist local partners through sponsorships that generate comprehensive value through awareness, engagement, traffic, and sales.
- Oversee the management and tracking of all sponsorship agreements and asset distribution using appropriate software tools.
- Ensure the effective execution of sponsorship deliverables with leagues, teams, and organizations to maximize return on investment.
- Devise unique strategies for in-store events and market activations that align with key brand moments.
- Manage the local budget and associated expenses diligently.
Local Marketing Initiatives
- Develop and implement local marketing outreach strategies to enhance brand awareness and customer acquisition.
- Provide consistent and insightful market intelligence to inform future strategies.
- Support the creation of event activation materials for store displays and scheduling platforms.
- Oversee customer outreach through reservation scheduling tools.
Event and Program Management
- Assist in executing all House of Sport marketing activities, vendor events, and related initiatives as necessary.
- Act as a liaison between House of Sport, CSC, and external partners to ensure top-tier execution of programs from inception to completion.
- Responsible for capturing content during owned events for use on national social media channels and other owned platforms.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative evaluations of events, report findings, and proactively suggest improvements for future success.
Community Engagement and Philanthropy
- Serve as the local representative for The DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation, overseeing community giving and charitable initiatives.
- Utilize The DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation to positively impact the local community through equipment donations, community grants, and other support programs.
- Assess and fulfill donation requests from the local community.
Professional Standards
- Exhibit excellence and professionalism in all endeavors, representing the House of Sport brand effectively.
- Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration across teams.
- Build relationships with vendors, sales representatives, and service organizations associated with our company.
- Serve as a media-trained associate, capable of representing DICK'S in media interactions as directed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or Communications.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in regional marketing, brand ambassadorship, or a retail environment.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to pass comprehensive background checks.
- Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with some travel required.
