Our client is a growing healthcare provider that is seeking a proven Director of Patient Access The right person will be based in Southern California that will come on-site the majority of the week to build a presence with their team.

Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experiences:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a similar healthcare patient access role.
  • Experience managing 10+ FTEs.
  • Demonstrated proven results based on patient service scores, reducing denials, and resolving eligibility or authorizations issues.
  • Strategic leadership thinking in executing initiatives.
  • Someone to put a plan and timeline together and really operationalize all the initiatives that are given.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Someone that can build rapport and camaraderie.
  • Experience building a team.
  • Experience creating policies and procedures to standardize how the team works together and with other departments.
  • Experience creating KPIs to measure the team’s overall performance and effectiveness.
