Position Overview

An Envoy Solutions company, Southeastern Paper Group, is currently looking to hire an Outside Sales Representative. The Sales Representative is responsible for growing the business, increasing sales growth and profit margins through the expansion of our customer base. Also maintains the current customer base by providing outstanding customer service.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity.
  • Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market development strategy.
  • Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
  • Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, eg., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
  • Research potential markets and customers, looking for existing and new market applications. Prospecting and building upon current customer base.
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Prospecting new customers, reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
  • Analyze the territory/region market’s potential.
  • % of Travel Required: 50%


The ideal sales candidate for the Wilmington, NC market must have the following criteria:

  • Proven track record of Growth preferably with in our industry; Packaging, Foodservice, Jan-San. Salesforce or other CRM experience.
  • 5-8 years of sales experience
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and motivated in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Must understand how to work as a commissioned rep.
