Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with the Director, Talent Acquisition to fill job requisitions in a timely manner with qualified individuals while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action guidelines. The incumbent will provide basic recruiting, as well as organizational support through the full life cycle of the staffing process. This position is a developmental role designed to prepare the incumbent for a Recruiter opportunity.
Job Details:
Source candidates through effective sourcing techniques (i.e. advertising, mining job board databases and internal applicant tracking system, networking, social media, etc.).
- Screen and qualify candidates for open positions within the organization.
Coordinate candidate interview schedules and travel arrangements.
Generate written offer letters and initiate pre-employment screenings (i.e. background, drug screen, credentialing, etc.).
Ensure positive applicant experience through the interview and hiring process.
Maintain staffing reports to track open requisitions and key metrics (i.e. cost per hire, candidate source, time to fill, etc) on closed requisitions.
Coordinate, execute and maintain annual Preferred Vendor and Recruitment Services Agreement processes.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of an effective talent pool by tracking candidate information, regularly updating candidate profiles and identifying future potential, as appropriate within the applicant tracking system capability;
- Participate in HR projects and deliverables for various initiatives including production of Staffing Connection, 30/60/90 day check-ins, process improvements and other special projects.
- Strong foundation in Quality System Requirements; including but not limited to compliance with HR procedures and training requirements for new and continuing associates, Understanding includes both Federal and applicable international requirements as outlined in the Quality system procedures.

Position Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
Ability to develop an understanding of the business in order to positively promote Terumo to candidates and outside search firms.
Must possess a sense of urgency, ability to meet deadlines
Must be highly organized with ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining composure and professionalism.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
Background Experiences
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years of work experience, preferably in a Talent Acquisition capacity.
Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite, data reporting technologies and other business related software systems
