Position Summary:The QuickBooks Financial Manager will oversee the management of financial records utilizing QuickBooks, ensuring precise daily bookkeeping, and executing quarterly tax submissions. This position is vital for sustaining the financial integrity of our company and adhering to all applicable tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:QuickBooks Administration:
- Establish and oversee QuickBooks accounts, including the chart of accounts, vendor/customer directories, and item/service listings.
- Document daily financial activities, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank deposits, and credit card transactions.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements along with other financial accounts.
- Produce financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Daily Financial Management:
- Supervise and manage daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts promptly.
- Maintain organized and current financial records.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure precise recording of payroll expenses.
- Oversee petty cash and employee expense documentation.
Quarterly Tax Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit quarterly tax returns, including sales tax, payroll tax, and estimated income tax.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
- Collaborate with external tax consultants and auditors as necessary.
- Stay informed about changes in tax legislation to maintain compliance.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct regular financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for enhancement.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to aid in business decision-making.
- Assist in the formulation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
General Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all financial and employee data.
- Continuously seek to enhance accounting processes and procedures.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with a strong emphasis on QuickBooks.
- Demonstrated experience with daily bookkeeping and quarterly tax submissions.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong grasp of accounting principles and practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Certifications:
