Summary:

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sr. Director of B2B Marketing - Demand Generation to lead our marketing efforts in driving customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. You will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across all digital channels, social media, content marketing, event marketing, and brand awareness initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of B2B marketing principles, a passion for data-driven decision making, and the ability to lead a high-performance demand generation team of marketers.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive B2B demand generation strategy aligned with overall business goals.
  • Lead the creation and management of the customer pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads for both the sales team and the eCommerce website.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing (SEO, SEM, display, etc.), social media marketing, affiliate marketing, partner marketing, content marketing, and event marketing.
  • Grow the customer database (email and SMS) and develop triggered, automated, and highly relevant customer lifecycle campaigns. Continuously improve these campaigns by leveraging customer data and performance analytics.
  • Oversee content creation, ensuring content is in-line with brand standards, high-quality, informative, consistent across all marketing channels and targeted towards the right customer segment/ audience.
  • Build and execute programs targeted at B2B buyer personas at various journey stages, with the goal of progressing the customers along the customer lifecycle journey.
  • Rigorously manage and optimize marketing budgets, tracking ROI and campaign performance metrics.
  • Continuously analyze marketing data and utilize insights to improve campaign effectiveness and optimize marketing spend.
  • Create a dashboard that includes key marketing metrics and share it regularly with all key stakeholders and the executive leadership team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, top customers, and other key partners.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Stay up to date on the latest B2B marketing trends and technologies.
  • Represent the demand generating function in cross-functional meetings.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing roles, with a proven track record of increasing responsibilities and success in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of B2B buyer personas and journey stages.
  • Expertise in digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, PPC, social media marketing, and content marketing.
  • Experience in successfully developing and managing marketing budgets.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and utilize marketing data to execute quick and impactful decision-making.
  • Strong prioritization skills, with ability to keep eye on the prize without being easily distracted by non-consequential noise sources.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and unfaltering attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the team, and also influence colleagues and their teams.
  • Direct experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo) is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field. MBA, Masters or other advanced degree strongly preferred.
