Our company is seeking to add an Office Manager to our team. The Office Manager is responsible for administrative duties including (but not limited to) AR, AP, Payroll, HR, and Office Administration.
Responsibilities
General Bookkeeping:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll Processing
- Job Cost Reporting
- Monthly Excise Tax Returns
- Quarterly Payroll Tax Reporting
- Annual Insurance Audit Reporting
- Fiscal Year-End Reporting
Human Resources:
- Maintaining Personnel Files
- Overseeing Hiring, Onboarding, and Performance Reviews
- Maintaining Compliance with State & Federal Regulations
- Overseeing Enrollment in Employee Benefits
Office Administration & Other Duties:
- Maintaining Inventory of Office, Sanitary, and Breakroom Supplies
- Overseeing Shipping & Receiving of Products & Materials
- Maintaining Organized Filing Systems
- Maintaining Business Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications
- Coordinating Maintenance of Office Hardware
- Supervising Administrative Assistant (when applicable)
- Other Office Administrative Support
Qualifications
- Required: Minimum 2 Years Professional Bookkeeping or Accounting Experience
- Required: Minimum 1 Year Experience with QuickBooks Desktop Software
- Required: US Citizenship or Authorized to Work in the US
- Required: Negative Pre-employment Drug Screen
- Required: Consent to Pre-employment Background Check
- Preferred: Experience with Construction and/or Manufacturing
- Excellent Written, Verbal, and Interpersonal Communication Skills
- Strong Computer Skills (esp. MS Word, Outlook, and Excel)
- Ability to Recognize Sensitive Information & Maintain Confidentiality
Body Positioning & Environment
- Full range of motion: standing, bending, kneeling, while working in various positions
- Able to safely lift 30 pounds on occasion
- Office is connected to metal fabrication shop. Environment may include dust, vibration, and loud noise
Schedule
- 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday
- Some overtime may be required during high volume seasons
Compensation & Benefits
- $29.00 to $33.00 per hour
- 6 paid holidays per year
