The Operations Assistant will be key in coordinating, planning, and communicating within and on behalf of the Asset Management Team and will report to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Enter and track requirements for all new acquisitions:
o Real estate, personal property, and CAT tax due dates;
o Lender reporting requirements; and
o Non-profit reporting.
- Understand and track real estate, personal property, and CAT tax payments.
- Track real estate exemption filings.
- Prepared lender and non-profit investor reporting, including but not limited to compliance reporting, as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Coordinate lender and investor inspections with management agent, provide documents requested, and provide/track responses.
- Track business license initial and renewal filings.
- Report operational concerns to the Operations Manager.
- Other operational duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
- Demonstrated experience providing support in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 platform and Adobe products; experience with Asana.
- 2-3 years working with affordable housing preferred.
- Excellent judgment, attention to detail, relationship management, and problem-solving abilities; demonstrated ability to earn credibility and influence opinion leaders.
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills with an ability to multi-task, prioritize work, manage multiple deadlines, and track deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Desire to learn with vibrant intellectual curiosity.
- Strong ethics and integrity.
