Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. As a Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base while supporting the distributor channel in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and lead generation.
- Qualify inbound marketing leads against defined criteria.
- Manage sales opportunities through the full cycle from initial contact to closed won.
- Advance sales process, address objections, and negotiate terms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Conduct product presentations, tailored solutions, merchandising and demonstrations to potential and existing clients.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to ensure implementation and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, pricing landscape, and competitors to effectively position our products/service.
- Participate in company tastings, samplings, and marketing events.
- Participate in distributor ride-a-longs and training activities when necessary.
Critical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Prospecting and new business hunting capabilities.
- Ability to effectively demo and present product solutions.
- Strong drive for results and ability to consistently meet goals.
- Strong Public speaking and demonstration abilities.
- Time management and prioritization skills.
- Frequent driving and walking most of the day.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Qualifications:
- Residential proximity to Charleston, SC area for scope of work throughout week.
- 2-3 years of proven experience as a Sales Representative, or similar role preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office Suite preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license required.
