Overview:
The Manager, Sales Support & Analytics position will lead the effort of the Sales Support team. In this role, the individual will build and support all functions of the sales organization through various “Pods” or groups of sales support individuals who specialize in specific concentrated areas. In addition, this individual will research and analyze revenue, sales, salesforce.com and financial information to help assist the EVP of sales and company in making well-informed sales-focused decisions.
What you’ll do:
- Implement new centralized sales support design through the development of four “Pods” that will focus on specific areas of support such as Sales Support, Sales Commissions, Projects, and Advanced Client Services
- Coach, develop, communicate, and build vision/blueprint for the future of sales support to become more effective and efficient
- Consolidate and analyze sales / financial data (budgets, forecasts, etc.) considering company goals
- Coordinate and prep pertinent information for internal and external clients
- Reconcile reports and data by comparing and analyzing
- Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
- Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
- Develop forecast models
- Analyze actual results in comparison to forecasts
- Identify trends, advise management and recommend actions based on sound analysis
- Ability to think differently around the use and analytics / presentation of data, metrics, and reports
- Work collaboratively with Veritext colleagues, exhibiting Veritext Values
- Ensure that all client (internal and external) communications are handled in a professional, confidential, timely and courteous manner
- Communicate necessary information timely, accurately and effectively; report incidents to management
- Welcome new projects and ideas; continuously work to enhance job knowledge while bringing value to role
- Take ownership of your work; follow-thru until final resolution
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related field
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience (knowledge of legal services industry preferred)
- Experience in leadership of a decentralized team
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel) a must
- Proficient in spreadsheets, financial software packages and application
- Knowledgeable of financial forecasting and information analysis
- Must possess excellent written, reporting and verbal communication skills
- Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Dedicated professional with the ability to respond to requests promptly and accurately
- Must be detail oriented, organized and be able to multi-task
- Proactive and motivated with strong problem solving and follow up skills
- Must be able to work both independently and with a team
