Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Soliciting prospects and existing customers with the ability to promote, sell and rent all of the Company’s equipment lines.
  • Preparing and presenting product sales and rental proposals to customers.
  • Participating in Company and vendor sponsored training programs.
  • Achieving sales and profit goals established by the Company.
  • Implementing sales and marketing programs to promote trailer sales and rentals.
  • Maintaining awareness of market conditions and customer needs while recognizing cross selling opportunities.
  • Managing Branch personnel including the Operations Assistant, driver and mechanics.
  • Processing rental reservations, inspecting equipment, oversight of parts ordering, inventory control and management of outside vendors.
  • Oversight of Branch administration including maintenance of customer, vendor and equipment files and review and approval of all work orders.
  • Interfacing with corporate accounting and administration, as well as other branch locations as needed.
  • Comply with the Company’s safety program.


Requirements:

  • Must have sales skills and operating savvy.
  • Experience in trailer sales or rentals or with other heavy-duty equipment preferred.
  • Must have leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage staff.

Must be committed to a high level of customer service and satisfaction.

  • Self starter, problem solver, eager to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team structure.
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment as well as having the ability to multi-task.
  • Must have good computer skills.
  • Able to work flexible hours based on workload.
  • Willing to travel as needed to effectively cover the sales territory.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Must pass a standard pre-employment drug test.
