As the HR Manager you will be a business partner with primary responsibility to drive the holistic development and optimization of the human capital within our Brunswick, GA site (People Pillar Owner). You will be a member of the steering team activating Associate Experience Network (AEN) Centers of Excellence programs, and standup the site's Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Pillar systems in accordance with the TPM pillar playbook and sites current assessed maturity phase. This includes overseeing Associate Learning and Development, Leadership Development, High-Performance Team Development, and ongoing Organizational Effectiveness Assessments. You will play a crucial role coordinating with AEN CoE’s, ESO and field partners to deploy Enterprise programs and TPM PP systems. You will be responsible to build and maintain positive relationships with factory associates, addressing and resolving, on an exception basis associate concerns, conflicts, and grievances in collaboration with Ops Excellence CoE.


Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

Associate Learning and Development:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify skill gaps and create targeted training programs.
  • Utilize defined learning methodologies and technologies to enhance the effectiveness of learning initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of learning programs on individual and organizational performance.

Leadership Development:

  • Implement leadership development programs to cultivate a pipeline of capable leaders.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring support to leaders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth.
  • Evaluate CoE development programs and adjust strategies to meet evolving site needs.

High-Performance Team Development:

  • Facilitate the creation and development of high-performance teams within the manufacturing site.
  • Implement team-building activities, workshops, and interventions to enhance collaboration and productivity.
  • Monitor team dynamics and provide guidance to resolve conflicts and improve team effectiveness.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track team performance over time.

Organizational Effectiveness Assessment: (ODM)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic changes.
  • Analyze data and metrics to provide insights into organizational health and recommend interventions as needed.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and implementing best practices.

Pillar Board Development:

  • Establish and lead a Pillar Board comprising key stakeholders from various functions.
  • Collaborate with the Pillar Board Owner to define strategic objectives, goals, and key performance indicators for each pillar.
  • Regularly report progress and updates to the overall leadership team.
  • Establish and maintain robust governance structures for each pillar, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes.
  • Regularly engage with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to align pillar activities with overall business objectives.
  • Adhere to and promote ethical and compliance standards in all aspects of pillar management

Associate Relations, Policy Adherence:

  • Address and resolve associate concerns, conflicts, and grievances as required or escalated from Operations Excellence CoE
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and collaborate with steering team, AEN CoE’s and management on HR-related regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned


Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR leadership roles with a focus on learning and development, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • This role requires a dynamic individual who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, driving continuous improvement and contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing site.
