Position Summary:

DMK is seeking a talented and experienced Creative Manager with a strong background in graphic design and strategic marketing skills to oversee the marketing/creative department. The Creative Manager will focus on creative and strategic projects and campaigns while also handling operational and logistical aspects. This role is responsible for the creative output that aids in the sale of products, collaborating with internal staff and outside resources to ensure assets produced align with the company’s mission, image, and branding guidelines. The Creative Manager will work closely with senior leadership and the sales team to ensure the smooth running of the marketing/creative department, the efficient delivery of projects, and the development of innovative ideas, maintaining a two-year marketing plan to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the marketing/creative department, focusing on creative and strategic projects and campaigns.
  • Manage the creative output that aids in the sale of products.
  • Collaborate with internal staff and outside resources to ensure assets produced align with the company’s mission, image, and branding guidelines.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and the sales team to ensure the smooth running of the marketing/creative department.
  • Ensure the efficient delivery of projects and the development of innovative ideas.
  • Maintain a two-year marketing plan to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in design principles and Adobe Creative Suite, along with a robust portfolio showcasing creative solutions.
  • Knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout to ensure effective visual communication.
  • Experience in maintaining brand identity and creating cohesive visual styles aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Understanding of web design principles, UX/UI design, and basic HTML and CSS knowledge for effective collaboration with developers.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Asana.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and execute creative initiatives.
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and the ability to review KPIs for sales campaigns.
  • Proficiency in social media management and strategy.
  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills for clear communication with teams and partners.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with design software and pre-press processes.
  • Commitment to staying updated with industry trends.
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the capability to lead and mentor a 4-person creative team (graphic designer, videographer, writer, and social media coordinator).
  • BA degree, preferably in Graphic Design, is required.
