Oncology Account Manager

Our client is seeking a dynamic Oncology Account Manager (OAM) to drive sales success within their designated territory. The OAM will be responsible for achieving sales goals and expanding market share by building, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with key healthcare providers. This role demands a strategic and customer-focused approach, all while ensuring compliance with regulatory and promotional guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with key healthcare providers, including Oncologists, Hematologists, Oncology Fellows, Oncology Nurses, Pharmacists, and others.
  • Drive sales performance to meet or exceed territory targets.
  • Engage with various healthcare stakeholders, including tumor boards, teaching institutions, hospitals, and formulary committees.
  • Adhere to all regulatory guidelines while promoting products effectively.


Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; a major in Biological Science or Chemistry is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in the Oncology, Immunology, Hematology, or Rare Disease markets is preferred.
  • Oncology RNs, PAs, NPs, or equivalent professionals with relevant pharmaceutical sales experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales objectives.


  • Skills & Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM tools such as Salesforce/Veeva.
  • Willingness to travel within the territory (up to 60%), including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Must reside within the territory (Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming).
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
