Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with software developers early in the product development cycle to influence test design and identify areas for test automation.
  • Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, SQL scripts, and automation scripts based on user requirements.
  • Execute test plans and cases to ensure they meet requirements and technical design objectives.
  • Define test scope, strategy, and cases throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution.
  • Identify new ideas, tools, and process improvements to help the team meet objectives.
  • Coordinate your work and the work required from others.
  • Foster teamwork within the group.
  • Demonstrate mastery of problem-solving skills; test plans seldom require rework.
  • Use customer understanding and relevant technology knowledge to measure the quality of products/services.

Job Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of manual testing experience (regression and functional testing).
  • 5+ years in Data Analysis/Engineering, with expertise in SQL (joins, queries), ETL, and Data warehousing.
  • Experience in report testing with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Comfortable with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Expert-level command of writing SQL commands for testing data and reporting accuracy in support of ETL, data warehousing, and report testing.
  • Ability to develop and drive data verification strategies.
  • Experience mapping business requirements to technology solutions at a detailed technical level.
  • Experience developing test plans, test cases, strategies, and QA metrics.
  • Experience with Confluence and Jira.
  • Experience with Power BI and Snowflake.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
