This position operates in a hybrid capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the entire end-to-end systems and processes to support comprehensive testing requirements.
  • Establish and maintain QA processes and methodologies that align with industry best practices and compliance standards.
  • Set quality standards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure quality across all initiatives.
  • Coordinate testing activities with the QA Team, IT Leads, and key business partners, ensuring effective environment setup and execution of test cases.
  • Facilitate test team meetings with relevant stakeholders to provide guidance and support in decision-making.
  • Manage the development and implementation of test plans and quality strategies to ensure that deliverables meet required specifications.
  • Monitor and report on progress towards goals to senior management.
  • Prioritize and oversee various types of testing, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify and analyze recurring issues, bugs, and defects, providing root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
  • Implement reliable automated testing processes using appropriate tools.

Supervisory Duties:

  • Onboard and train offshore quality assurance personnel.
  • Lead QA team meetings and oversee daily workflows and testing initiatives.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support the QA team in understanding systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage employee discipline and termination in accordance with company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering trusted partnerships across the organization.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
  • Experience with testing best practices and defect management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with quality management systems.
  • Experience with Testing Automation is preferred.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA functions within them.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate offshore resources.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in a related testing role, including supervisory experience.
  • Professional certifications related to quality assurance are preferred.
  • Experience in the Retail or Supply Chain industry is advantageous.
