Responsibilities:


The Quality Assurance Supervisor will engage in some of our most significant projects, ensuring seamless communication between clients, project teams, and field personnel.


Additionally, the QAS will be tasked with:
Developing and documenting project-specific quality assurance plans, procedures, and audit checklists for all construction tasks deemed necessary.

Creating company-wide checklists for quality assurance.

Leading quality assurance audits and inspections.

Identifying and implementing corrective actions for quality assurance deficiencies.

Collaborating with project managers, other departments, and superintendents to ensure quality integration throughout the construction process.

Having a thorough understanding of contract specifications and managing accountability with Trade-Partners.

Preparing and maintaining quality assurance documentation, including adherence to material submittals and conformance with project details.

Tracking and reporting project progress in alignment with the project schedule.

Establishing testing requirements and procedures in accordance with contract specifications.

Managing the inspection process and providing field reports of observations to be shared with the project team.

Coordinating with superintendents and/or the owner's project manager to schedule third-party testing onsite.

Reporting on quality assurance performance and recommending enhancements to quality assurance systems.

Reviewing projects in preconstruction to suggest details to design teams for constructability.

Qualifications:
5-10 years of experience in the field: project superintendent, QA Supervisor, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience.

A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Mechanical Engineering, etc. *While there are no specific major requirements, these are the most relevant fields.

Experience in hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability practices.

Certifications relevant to quality assurance, engineering, etc.

may include:
Quality Engineer (CQE), Quality Inspector (CQI), Six Sigma, Quality Technician (CQT), ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification, Welding Inspector (CWI).

Strong communication skills.
