Our client is a $300M-brand which is part of $3B-Global Corporation, where there are plenty of opportunities for growth. They are currently building a brand-new innovation center to house their product and engineering teams in Boston. This is a hybrid role, being in the office two - three days a week.


Role Details:

  • Senior Quality Engineer/Manager position
  • Responsible for overseeing product quality and continuous improvement, interfacing with the factory, customer service, and returns center
  • Expected to work autonomously to identify and solve quality issues, drive corrective actions, and provide recommendations to leadership
  • Leverage resources like the factory, customer service, and returns center to gather data and implement solutions
  • This could be a manager or quality engineering manager level role, with the ability to own the continuous improvement and quality assurance processes globally.


Role Requirements:

  • Must have 5-10 years of experience in the motorized/battery-powered consumer product space, ideally with experience in the retail/China manufacturing space
  • Needs to have experience with product quality, problem-solving, and driving continuous improvement
  • Should be able to leverage resources like the factory, customer service, and returns center to gather data and solve quality issues
  • Needs strong technical skills like CAD experience, testing expertise, and familiarity with regulatory requirements like UL
  • Should be able to take ownership of solutions and drive them to completion, not just identify problems
  • Needs leadership and communication skills to interface with various teams and stakeholders
