About the role:

Account Executives will play a key role as Pillar continues to grow exponentially. We are looking for someone who has experience in a fast paced sales environment, loves to identify and solve customer challenges, and embraces the startup mentality. You will combine knowledge and experience from previous roles with an innovative approach in a high growth environment.

 

The ideal candidate is excited to hunt for new business, grow existing accounts, and demonstrates outstanding communication skills.. Account Executives will be responsible for the customer experience from first contact through purchase - working both inbound and outbound opportunities to create raving fans of the product, company, and service level. 

 

We are a small (but quickly growing) startup and believe that our team is the key to success. This is a highly collaborative environment and you will work closely with the sales, customer experience, operations and product teams on a daily basis. We move fast, work together, and have a lot of fun.

Primary Responsibilities


  • Engage, nurture, & close inbound deal flow
  • Identify new outbound sectors & targets
  • Engage, nurture, & close outbound opportunities
  • Manage and update CRM for forecasting
  • Utilize proven & innovative sales approaches to generate pipeline
  • Help design the future of the Pillar Booth sales process for long-term success


What it Takes:


  • An ambitious and results-oriented approach to sales.
  • A positive, supportive team-player.
  • 3+ years of proven sales success in a fast paced environment
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, organization, and customer (internal and external) support orientation
  • Excellent leadership skills, combining a low-ego approach, competitive spirit, and ability to motivate and empower others
  • Self-starter and confident decision maker
  • Commercial furniture experience preferred but not required
