Job Description:

  • The EUC-Desktop Support Workplace Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting of end user computing (EUC) hardware and software.
  • The engineer must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot problems with EUC systems such as laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
  • The engineer must be able to provide advice and solutions to end users on how to optimize their EUC systems for maximum efficiency.
  • The engineer should have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in supporting EUC systems.
  • The engineer should be knowledgeable of EUC hardware and software, and should possess the ability to install, set up, and troubleshoot EUC systems.
  • The engineer should also have excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to clearly explain technical issues to end users.
  • The engineer should be able to work independently and have the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • The engineer should also be capable of working in a team environment and should be able to take direction from management. The engineer should have the ability to think critically and creatively to solve technical problems.
  • The engineer should have a strong understanding of the end user computing environment and should be able to identify and address user needs.
  • The engineer should also be able to analyse system performance, identify and resolve issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • The engineer should be able to provide end users with training on how to use EUC systems.
  • The engineer should be able to work flexible hours and be able to travel when necessary.
