Our client is a Phenomenal Private Equity Firm, focused on buying and managing a wide variety of fashion and top-tier retail brands, acquires global consumer brands to develop them by investing in high-growth distribution channels, new categories, and digital commerce platforms. This role will be key in driving brand awareness, engagement, and revenue growth through innovative digital marketing initiatives. This is a key leadership role in a rapidly growing organization, looking to set the standard for innovative, effective, and creative digital marketing. The ideal candidate will adeptly adapt to changes in consumer behaviors and technologies and bring brands to life.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Craft and implement detailed digital marketing strategies that are tailored to the distinct brand positioning and target audiences.
  • Propel multi-faceted digital campaigns through SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media advertising, digital display ads, and content marketing.
  • Work in tandem with Brand Management teams to ensure digital strategies are in sync with overall brand goals and product introductions.
  • Regularly assess and refine strategies based on market dynamics, consumer insights, and performance data to enhance effectiveness.

Leadership and Team Management

  • Guide, motivate, and inspire a team of digital marketing experts, promoting an environment of creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Establish clear objectives and provide strategic guidance to team members, encouraging excellence in their respective domains.
  • Perform periodic performance reviews, offer constructive criticism, and identify paths for skill enhancement and professional growth within the team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Creative and agency partners to ensure unified and impactful brand narratives across digital platforms.
  • Partner with E-commerce and agency teams to enhance online user experiences and boost conversion rates through digital avenues.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to tap into specialized knowledge and enhance campaign results.

Analytics and Performance Measurement

  • Employ comprehensive analytics tools and leverage data-driven insights to gauge the success of digital marketing endeavors.
  • Generate detailed reports and analyses, deriving actionable intelligence to finetune strategies and boost return on investment.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and set benchmarks to monitor progress and success effectively.

Requirements:

  • Over 7 years of demonstrable experience in digital marketing, particularly with consumer brands, ideally in the retail or fashion sectors.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with a history of managing and elevating high-performance teams.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing tools, platforms, and analytics systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a similar field.
  • Strategic mindset with a history of crafting and executing digital marketing campaigns that bolster brand development and revenue growth.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • A blend of creativity and analytical prowess in decision-making.
  • Experience in startup settings is beneficial.
  • Flexibility to manage a diverse range of responsibilities efficiently.
