Summary


We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and strategic Sr. Director, LATAM Supply Chain to join our global FMCG team in Miami. This pivotal role will oversee the entire supply chain operation for Latin America, ensuring seamless procurement, manufacturing, and distribution processes. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in supply chain management, coupled with exceptional leadership skills to drive efficiency, foster innovation, and promote sustainable practices across all stages of the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities


  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy for the LATAM region, aligning with the company's overall goals. Drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Procurement: Oversee the procurement process, negotiating contracts and establishing strong vendor relationships. Ensure ethical sourcing, quality control, and compliance with company standards.
  • Manufacturing: Manage the manufacturing operations, optimizing production schedules, workflows, and quality assurance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and address any operational challenges.
  • Distribution: Oversee the logistics and distribution network, ensuring timely delivery of products to markets. Evaluate and optimize the supply chain to minimize costs, reduce lead times, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of supply chain professionals. Foster a collaborative culture, encouraging innovation and professional growth.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure, track, and report on the supply chain's performance. Implement strategies based on insights to drive improvements and efficiencies.
  • Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure all supply chain operations comply with local and international regulations. Promote sustainable practices across all processes, supporting the company's environmental and social responsibility goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in procurement, manufacturing, and distribution within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with supply chain technologies, including ERP and inventory management systems.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills.
