The EPMO Operations team is requesting a Project Management resource to support the Content Management Transformation - Comply 365 project. This project will replace the existing Content Management Systems (CMS) used by Alaska Airlines Flight Operations, Inflight, M&E, and AOCS for the development and management of operational manuals, with a modern, aviation-focused, cloud-based CMS designed specifically for offline mobile use. The new system will facilitate easier authoring, approval, and publishing of content, and enable more efficient distribution of company manuals, bulletins, and other essential information to end users.


Length: 12 month contract

Location: SeaTac, Hybrid - need flexibility. Some weeks will require daily in office, some will be less. On average three but could be more during busy seasons

Associate Vendors: We are accepting applications from candidates who are currently authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Project Plan & Kickoff: Establish project’s goals/outcomes, scope, deliverables
  • Project Leadership: Plan development, tracking and management including resource and budget management and defining clear roles / responsibilities on the project team
  • Change Management: Ensure strategies to manage change are scoped, scheduled & resourced. Partnering with AAG Change Management function
  • Issue, Risk & Decision management: Identify, document, & develop mitigation strategies
  • Stakeholder Communication and management: Partner closely with sponsors to drive alignment, communicate plans including bi-weekly status reporting
  • Quality control: Ensure projects meet required standards & deliverables
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough project documentation throughout, providing traceability and archiving for future reference
  • Launch management: Execute smooth delivery including testing, dress rehearsals, and contingency planning
  • Project Closure: Deliver completed project including sustainment plan. Conduct lessons learned


Required Qualifications

  • 11 years of project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or 2 additional years of functional experience
  • Well versed in end-to-end project management including project planning/leadership, change management, risk analysis, stakeholder engagement, documentation, and more
  • Experience working on projects that impact cross-functional and diverse groups/tams
  • Experienced with Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Strong vendor management capabilities
  • Able to work with ambiguous stakeholders and directions


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in the travel/airline industry
  • Prior experience with Comply365
  • Experience with Goodreader
  • Preferred experience with development and authoring of policies and procedures.
