West Sound Workforce is partnering with the Port of Seattle, a leader in connecting people and cargo across the globe, to place a skilled office support professional in a temporary Clerical III position. Serving millions annually, the Port of Seattle is dedicated to public service and takes pride in being one of the region's most vital economic engines. As part of the Aviation Facilities & Infrastructure team, this Clerical III role plays a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations. Primary responsibilities include managing the department calendar, coordinating meetings, arranging travel, and processing expense claims and reports. Additional duties involve supporting purchase requisitions, preparing invoices for payment, and distributing office supplies, all while maintaining an organized and efficient workplace. Be a positive influence on someone's day and help support the vitality of our community Successful candidates will be detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse public and visitors. Shift Information: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm What this temporary Clerical III position will do: Manage the department calendars and provide support for scheduling and coordinating meetings Coordinate travel arrangements and process related expense claims and reports Assist with purchase requisitions, invoice preparation, and payment processing Distribute office supplies to staff and contribute to other duties and projects as assigned What we are looking for: High School Diploma or GED Previous experience providing administrative support within a multi departmental capacity Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint, with the ability to update documents, presentations, and correspondence Strong customer service skills, demonstrating discretion, patience, and professionalism in interactions Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines Benefits include sick leave accrued at 1 hour per 40 hours worked; paid Family & Medical leave (per Washington State); 401K after eligibility; holiday pay and vacation bonus after eligibility; and opt-in for health insurance, personal Aflac and life insurance plans available.
