Our client, An American multinational Mining Company is actively looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their Phoenix, AZ team


***100% Remote - 6 Month Contract with Extensions***


Responsibilities:

  • This role is primarily responsible for scheduling interviews and providing administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team, Hiring Managers and Candidates.
  • •Schedule phone, video or in-person interviews for various positions across all North America sites.
  • Communicate, via phone and email, directly with candidates and site HR team members to coordinate interviews, assist with applications, and respond to inquiries.
  • Perform administrative tasks including initiation, tracking and follow-up on background checks, scheduling and tracking of post-offer drug tests and physical examinations. Escalate discrepancies or candidate issues to the Talent Acquisition Supervisor or Specialist.
  • Track, monitor and follow-up on tasks to ensure completion and update the applicant tracking system, as required, to reflect real time status changes.
  • Partner with the Travel department and candidate to coordinate travel arrangements.
  • Responsible for generating routine reports.
  • Perform other duties as requested.


Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED and One (1) year of experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources or Executive Coordination
  • Experience using Outlook or a similar tool for scheduling
  • Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency when supporting multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of common recruiting processes, procedures and sourcing techniques
