Core Job Functions:

·        Reports to the Customer Relationship Marketing Director.

·        Harness customer data sources to gain actionable insights that guide strategic decisions and inform the development Dillard’s customer marketing strategies.

·        Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand customer insight needs and translate them into actionable intelligence.

·        Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional IT data and analytics teams.

·        Analyze data to find patterns, trends and deviations from expected outcomes to provide insights into customer behavior.

·        Identify customer segments and present opportunities to target, nurture and grow the value of key groups.

·        Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that assess customer and campaign metrics.

·        Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner.

·        Influence progression of marketing strategies through evolving data models and queries for performance and efficiency.

·        Develop and maintain documentation for customer insights data processes, models and reports.

·        Stay up to date with industry best practices, tools and trends in insights strategy, data visualization and reporting.


Experience & Qualifications

·        Minimum of bachelor’s degree required in business analytics, data science, statistics or related field.

·        3+ years experience; previous experience in mid-to-large size organization preferred

·        Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel

·        Proven experience building reports and dashboards in Tableau or similar BI tools

·        Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and perform data manipulation

·        Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques

·        Machine learning experience is a plus

·        Excels at working on self-managed projects in conjunction with other departments

·        Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

·        A champion of new ideas


The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience and qualifications.
