Business Continuity Director

Ultimate Staffing is engaged in a direct hire search for a Director of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery. This position will develop and maintain policies and procedures to comply with regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for assessing risks and managing a team of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery professionals. To be successful in this position, you will need an in-depth understanding of BC/DR, strong leadership experience and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize with C-Suite and Sr. Executives to develop and refine policies and processes
  • Develop and communicate a clear vision for the BC/DR program
  • Track performance metrics to confirm effectiveness of the BC/DR program
  • Evaluate the company's current resiliency and readiness, identify risks and develop remediation strategies
  • Responsible for mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Perform Business Impact Analysis on all locations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information technology or related field
  • 8+ years of experience (mostly in leadership roles) within business continuity or disaster recovery in the financial services industry
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of BC/DR practices and FFIEC guidance
  • Excellent communication skills with experience interacting with Sr. management
  • Analytical and strategic/critical thinking skills
  • CBCP or MBCP professional certification required
