What You Will Be Doing

  • Estimating large commercial electrical projects.
  • Manage all financial aspects of projects through ongoing job forecasting and budgeting.
  • Oversee pre-con meetings to ensure successful hand off from estimating to field.
  • Set clear goals and expectations to Foreman.
  • Negotiate and resolve customer concerns as they arise.
  • Estimate change orders for assigned projects.
  • Manage closeout procedures.
  • Conduct post project reviews to determine areas for future improvement.
  • Provide coaching/counseling to Foreman and Assistant Project Manager.
  • Develop/maintain network of professional relationships within our industry.

What You Need for this Position

  • 3+ years of relevant electrical estimating experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, ConstructJob, MS Project, or other related Construction Management software
  • Proficiency in Accubid or other related Construction Estimating software
  • Experience estimating relevant projects in the size of $50k - $10mm+

Nice To Have

  • Bachelors Degree in related field (Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or similar)
  • Successful graduation of I.B.E.W. Journeyman
  • CPE (Certified Professional Electrical Estimator certification)
