Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and manage project execution, including labor, material procurement, cost management, and client relationships.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for general contractors, owners, and end-users.
  • Assist in producing and processing RFIs.
  • Oversee all financial aspects of projects, including labor budgets, purchase orders, subcontracts, invoices, and contract billings.
  • Manage change order pricing for each project.
  • Procure materials such as switchgear, luminaires, specialty equipment, and commodities.
  • Maintain tracking logs to ensure product deliveries stay on schedule.
  • Review and understand all project drawings and specifications.
  • Attend project and field meetings.
  • Coordinate schedules with the field team, superintendent, vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate engineering efforts on design/build projects.
  • Interpret client needs and provide timely responses.
  • Handle multiple tasks in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment.
  • Adhere to company and job site guidelines, ensuring contractual requirements are met safely and professionally.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the electrical construction industry as a Field Engineer and/or Estimator.
  • High school diploma or GED required; a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Postsecondary electrician training program is a plus.
  • Experience with estimating, cost management, procurement, and scheduling.
  • Understanding of electrical power and lighting design.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adept at organizing and documenting project information.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
