Job Details:

As an Electrical Estimator, you will oversee the daily operations of construction projects, which includes planning, scheduling, execution, labor management, material procurement, cost oversight, and client relations. Your workload may range from several smaller projects to a single large-scale endeavor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary liaison for general contractors, owners, and end users.
  • Assist in the production and processing of Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Manage all financial aspects of projects, including labor budgets, purchase orders, subcontracts, and billing.
  • Facilitate pricing for change orders on each project.
  • Oversee material procurement for various electrical components.
  • Establish and maintain tracking logs to ensure timely product deliveries.
  • Comprehend all current project drawings and specifications throughout the project duration.
  • Participate in project and field job site meetings.
  • Coordinate with field teams and superintendents to establish schedules and workflows.
  • Align schedules with vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate engineering efforts on design/build projects.
  • Engage with clients to interpret their needs and provide timely responses.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment with time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Adhere to operating procedures within company and job site guidelines.
  • Ensure all contractual project requirements are fulfilled professionally and safely.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the electrical construction sector as an Estimator.
  • Experience in estimating, cost management, procurement, and scheduling.
  • Understanding of electrical power and lighting design principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Familiarity with Adobe or Bluebeam is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, self-motivated, and an effective communicator.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation capabilities.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
