Global Oil & Gas company is seeking a versatile professional to join our team as a Low Carbon Solutions Business Development Analyst. This unique role combines analytical, research, and strategic skills to support our mission of developing and implementing effective low carbon energy solutions for business development.
Job Overview:
The Low Carbon Energy Business Development Analyst and Researcher will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis related to low carbon energy business including CCUS, CCS, Ammonia, SAF and Hydrogen , market trends, risk evaluation and policy impacts. This role involves developing financial models, preparing strategic recommendations, and contributing to research projects to drive sustainable energy transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze data on low carbon energy markets, risk and policies to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess project viability and profitability.
- Conduct independent and collaborative research on low carbon energy systems, business development and efficiency measures.
- Design and implement experiments, simulations, and data collection methods to support research objectives.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders based on research findings and market analysis.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of low carbon energy projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, academic institutions and industry partners.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in Low Carbon Solutions business analysis, financial modeling, and research related to Oil & Gas and Energy sectors.
- Strong analytical skills and financial assessment.
- Deep understanding of low carbon energy business (CCUS, CCS, Ammonia, SAF and Hydrogen), market dynamics, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
