About the Role:

We’re looking for a Server Repair Technician who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, dive into complex hardware, and ensure every server is optimized to perfection. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of diagnosing, repairing, and customizing servers to meet unique partner specifications. Whether it’s in the facility or on-site with clients, you’ll be the go-to expert, ensuring that servers operate smoothly and exceed expectations.

What You'll Do:

  • Diagnose and repair server hardware and software issues to ensure seamless performance.
  • Collaborate with partners to understand their unique build needs and deliver flawless servers.
  • Test and verify each server's functionality before deployment, ensuring top-quality results.
  • Document the repair process, modifications, and results for reference.
  • Travel to client sites to troubleshoot and resolve server issues post-deployment.
  • Provide both on-site and remote technical support, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
  • Handle on-call duties for urgent repair needs, which may include travel to customer sites.
  • Stay updated on the latest server technologies to continuously improve service quality.


What You Bring:

  • Expertise in server hardware (motherboards, processors, memory, storage) and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in operating systems like Windows Server and Linux.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
  • Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with both partners and customers.
  • Flexibility for shifts, overtime, and on-call duties, including travel.
  • Ability to lift and handle equipment over 50 lbs.


Preferred Experience & Certifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in server repair, with a focus on customized builds.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Windows Server Specialist, or Red Hat Certified System Administrator.
  • Manufacturer-specific certifications (EMC, Dell, Cisco, etc.) are a plus.
  • A+ certification is also a bonus.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles is highly valued.
