We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to drive strategic initiatives and oversee comprehensive program management efforts for our client on a temp-to-hire basis.


Position Title: Business Operations Manager

Location: Denver, CO

Remote: Fully remote (ability to go in office if needed - REQUIRED)

Hours: 8-5, M-F

Type: temp-to-hire

Compensation: $50-$65 /hr


Key Responsibilities

Program Management:

  • Oversee and manage program initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and operational goals.
  • Develop and implement program strategies that support business development and enhance organizational performance.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Facilitate alignment of project goals and business development activities with stakeholder expectations.

Project Governance:

  • Establish and enforce project governance frameworks to ensure adherence to best practices, compliance, and strategic alignment.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring that projects are on track and meet defined objectives.

Business Development Support:

  • Support business development efforts by providing insights and recommendations on program and project strategies.
  • Collaborate with business development teams to identify opportunities and drive initiatives that support growth and innovation.

Risk and Issue Management:

  • Identify potential risks and issues across programs and projects, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor risk factors and address issues promptly to ensure minimal impact on program and project outcomes.

Financial Management:

  • Oversee financial aspects of programs and projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
  • Ensure that financial resources are allocated efficiently and effectively, aligning with program goals and organizational priorities.

Continuous Improvement/Change Management:

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage change processes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program and project success.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to support business development activities and manage risks and issues effectively.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
