Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Regional Sales Manager to join our team. The Regional Sales Manager will play a key role in achieving sales targets, implementing strategic initiatives, and building strong relationships within our matrix sales organization. This position involves discovering, developing, and securing project opportunities, expanding our customer base, and fostering long-term relationships with key accounts.


Primary Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and implement effective sales and account strategies that align with corporate goals.
  • Drive new business for our products in accordance with company sales plans and objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, engineers, and distributors to increase product demand.
  • Focus on generating demand from mechanical/residential contractors (bottom-up approach) and securing specifications from mechanical engineers (top-down approach).
  • Conduct product training sessions to enhance brand awareness, specifications, and market demand.
  • Qualify and evaluate leads from various sources.
  • Provide technical guidance on our products to engineers and contractors.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of our product offerings and installation methods.
  • Travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 80%) to optimize sales results and meet goals.
  • Prepare pricing, generate quotes, and provide necessary technical information.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to enhance market presence and position the company as a leader in the industry.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to support cross-functional projects.
  • Gather and analyze competitive intelligence to improve market positioning and identify growth opportunities.
  • Participate in buying group events, trade shows, and other industry-related activities.
  • Perform physical tasks, including site visits, product handling, and setup as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales within the plumbing industry is a plus but not required.
  • Strong team player with the ability to share ideas and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
