Personal Lines Account Manager


Job Summary:


Day-to-day maintenance and servicing of assigned Personal Lines accounts, including but not limited to:

  • Maintaining a high level of client service and satisfaction
  • Marketing & placement of renewal accounts as appropriate
  • Achieving agency account retention goals through proactive account rounding, up-selling of limits and coverages, and by providing extraordinary customer service


Essential Job Functions:


  • Responsible for providing effective client service via email and phone for all Producers and clients by using in-depth knowledge of company products and programs. This position services a book of business by interacting with Producers, clients and insurance carriers to provide all levels of service to our clients.
  • Assists the sales team in marketing and servicing insurance business.
  • Assists Producers, underwriters, managers and clients in securing proposals for new and renewal business, client retention, account management, updating agency systems, certificates of insurance, policy changes, endorsements, inspection requests, billing and processing payments.
  • Answers requests for information from Producers, underwriters and clients about insurance coverage.
  • Identifies opportunities to upsell insurance based on client needs and then engages in such discussions with clients attempting to make additional sales.
  • Troubleshoots client issues and resolves them quickly.
  • Assists with policy-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Works with insurance carriers to provide updated information when requested.
  • Participates as needed in special department projects.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


  • Georgia Property and Casualty License
  • Personal Lines Account Management experience
  • Thorough knowledge of brokerage operations, including procedures and applicable insurance laws/codes
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, agency management system software (preferably AMS360), and carrier proprietary systems
  • Excellent time management, organizational and verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of self-motivation and self-direction
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Confidentiality of financial, employee, and customer information
  • Must be able to work with occasional instruction and supervision
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time


Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
