Project Accountant/Controller

We are seeking a dynamic and competent Project Accountant/Controller to join our Family-owned business setting. The Ideal candidate will be hard working and able to undertake a variety of accounting tasks and work diligently with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as handling and creating processes and procedures for efficient execution of the job. Leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to support various departments is needed in the position.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual English-Spanish- preferred
- Accounting experience
- Payroll, AP, and AR experience
- Ability to manage a small team
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Thorough understanding of office procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with MS Office
Responsibilities:
- This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail end discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
- Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures.
- Sort and distribute communications in a tidy manner.
- update records ensuring Accuracy and validity of information.
- Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
- Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
- Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
- maintain trusting relationships with suppliers. customers, and colleagues
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday. 8:30 to 5:00
