Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team at RealTruck. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in the financial monthly accounting close cycle to ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions in accordance with GAAP and RealTruck accounting policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Participate in the month-end close process preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and internal reports.
- Perform internal controls over accounting and financial reporting.
- Work cross-functionally with other groups to foresee, identify, interpret, and analyze potential accounting risks and issues and recommend practical solutions associated with business transactions.
- Maintain the highest quality, reliability, and accuracy; analyze reports and collaborate with functional leaders to analyze and understand variances.
- Support efforts to improve close processes, automation projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Support in the coordination of the external audit, gather necessary materials and documents and handle other necessary tasks.
- Assist with other projects or duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related degree is required.
- 3 years of progressive accounting and / or finance experience required.
- Experience using integrated financial systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with consolidations and reporting, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) preferred.
- Experience with reconciling balance sheet accounts - Blackline, preferred.
