Low Voltage Project Manager with Expertise in Electrical Systems

At 5 Points Electrical, we are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Project Manager to oversee and manage low-voltage projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects involving security, fire alarm, audio/visual, data, and communication networks.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Planning and Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of low-voltage projects, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and client communication.
- System Installation and Maintenance: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems such as security systems, fire alarms, data networks, audio/visual equipment, and communication systems.
- Project Timelines and Milestones: Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones are met, and projects are delivered on time.
- Team Management: Manage and supervise a team of technicians and subcontractors, providing direction, training, and support as needed.
- Quality Control and Compliance: Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and compliance with industry standards.
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to inform them of project status and resolve concerns.
- Financial Management: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Low Voltage Project Manager or in a similar role.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, including security, fire alarm, audio/visual, data, and communication networks.
- Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Work may be performed in various settings, including construction sites, commercial buildings, and data centers. May involve exposure to hazardous conditions, such as working at heights or in confined spaces. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
