Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team at RealTruck Group Inc. The successful candidate will play a key role in the financial monthly accounting close cycle, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions in accordance with GAAP and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Participate in the month-end close process, preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and internal reports.
  • Perform internal controls over accounting and financial reporting.
  • Work cross-functionally with other groups to identify, interpret, and analyze potential accounting risks and issues and recommend practical solutions associated with business transactions.
  • Maintain the highest quality, reliability, and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Support efforts to improve close processes, automation projects, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support in the coordination of the external audit, gathering necessary materials and documents, and handling other necessary tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related degree.
  • 3 years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience.
  • Experience using integrated financial systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with consolidations and reporting, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) preferred.
  • Experience with reconciling balance sheet accounts - Blackline, preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of financial systems, including general ledger.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, specifically in pivot tables, vlook-ups, formulas, and functions.
  • Ability to problem solve independently and resourcefully.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to think analytically.
  • Ability to break down problems to complete tasks.
  • Function efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively among operations team members and management.
